About the Event
This session dives into character creation through movement, voice, posture, and emotional intention. Using improv techniques, you will learn how to quickly differentiate characters and make strong choices without needing a fully written backstory.
Exercises focus on physicality, status, and instinct so characters emerge naturally rather than feeling forced. These tools are especially helpful for players running multiple characters or GMs juggling a room full of NPCs.
You will leave with techniques you can use immediately to make your characters clearer and more confident at the table.
You will practice responding in character without overthinking, supporting other players’ choices, and letting go of the fear of doing it “wrong.” The emphasis is on building confidence and table safety so everyone can take creative risks together.
Perfect for players who freeze up in roleplay moments or GMs who feel anxious improvising NPC interactions.
