Pull up a chair at Bruhaven and meet your people. DD&D social hours are casual, no-pressure evenings for D&D players, curious newcomers, and anyone who's ever wanted to roll dice with strangers and somehow leave with friends.
This month we're thrilled to welcome three of the minds behind RPG Improv — Amy Vorpahl, Douglas Sarine, and Dave Hill — who are in Minneapolis for a weekend of workshops and live shows. They're joining us on Thursday evening before the festivities begin, and we cannot wait to introduce them to this community.
At 7:30, Amy, Douglas, and Dave will take part in a Talk Back — an informal conversation open to everyone in the room. Ask them anything about improv, storytelling, running better games, or what it's like to build something in this space.
What's happening this month:
Try an Encounter — Take our curated character sheets for a spin with our encounter of the month. Grab a few folks, pick a sheet, and start rolling.
Bring Your Stuff — Got a character you've been building? A rulebook with questions? Bring it. There's always someone at the table who wants to dig into your build or nerd out over lore.
Bring Your Games — Got a deck, a box, or a game that needs more players? Throw it in your bag. The tables are yours.
Just Hang — Sometimes the best thing is a good conversation with someone who also knows what a nat 20 feels like. Grab a drink, find a seat, introduce yourself.
