I met a great group of people to play with. I was happy to play with other women/femme people, and as a bonus we all had similar work backgrounds and video games. A great time!
All of it, as a beginner it was a great environment to learn and meet people.
Loved our group, it was such a great time. We’ve all connected on FB and plan to play again!
Was a DM and loved the moments when players would light up seeing they succeeded, seeing it was something they were good at, or just funny moments in general.
Thank you for a wonderful evening. Didn’t expect to be able to play but being asked to join the level 1 table was so nice. Our DM was super nice, guided us through the adventure, and was fun! Thank you!!
My group itself was a major highlight! Everyone was great and contributed to the wonderful energy that was generated. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to meet more people and play D&D with such wonderful human beings. I also love that our two spectators are now interested in playing after watching!
The whole experience was a blast the Dm made it a lot of fun and getting to secretly be the bad guys made it even better. We had a ton of great laughs in the group too!
The group recap at the end was great, especially considering how our group had an opposed goal so we could all have some good natured rivalry.
I had a lovely time playing at the level nine table! I loved how into role play everyone was and the fact that people dressed up/someone at our table brought costume prices helped.
I had a great time! Our DM did a good job of portraying lovable NPCs that felt unique. I’ll do it again.
Though the adventure was deeply scripted with hard rails, it was still well written and a fun premise. I recognize that is not an easy thing to pull off. I applaud the use of an open skill check encounter to start off to get people comfortable before really diving in. While I have the experience to DM, I was leery about taking on an adventure with no prep time. Your own prep work was deep enough that, if there's a next time, I would not hesitate to take a binder.
Atmosphere was brilliant. The white roses on the tables correlating with the one left by the NPC at the beginning of the adventure was a top notch nod, and an immediate pull into the adventure. Great choice of music played at an appropriate volume.
From the perspective of an attendee this was highly successful and I would absolutely come to future events. Thank you so much for your time and effort in making this great idea come to life.
