Event Lead Description

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination:

    • Coordinate with the leadership team to confirm attendance of Game Masters.

    • Coordinate with brewery staff and leadership team to ensure open communications.

    • Ensure the venue is appropriately set up with tables, chairs, and gaming materials.
       

  • Participant Management:

    • Oversee the check-in process for players and Game Masters.

    • Serve as the main liaison for participants, addressing inquiries and providing information.

    • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees.
       

  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with Game Masters and volunteers to assign roles and responsibilities.

    • Ensure all team members are informed and prepared for the event.

    • Motivate and support the team to deliver an exceptional player experience.
       

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Manage event timeline, including start and end times for gaming sessions.

    • Troubleshoot on-site issues promptly and effectively.

    • Address last-minute challenges with adaptability and problem-solving skills.
       

  • Communication:

    • Maintain regular communication with the Dragons, Dungeons, & Drinks leadership team.

    • Provide event updates, feedback, and suggestions for improvement.

    • Collaborate on promotional activities and community engagement initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience

    • Previous experience in event coordination or similar roles.

    • Familiarity with Dungeons & Dragons or other tabletop role-playing games.
       

  • Skills

    • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Proven problem-solving capabilities and adaptability in dynamic environments.
       

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Passion for tabletop gaming and community-building.

    • Ability to connect with a diverse group of participants.

    • Enthusiasm for creating memorable and enjoyable experiences.
